I’m a recent Bachelor’s and Master’s graduate in English at Stanford University, specializing in contemporary Asian/Asian-American fiction. I love analyzing pop culture, entertainment, and the “trends” landscape.
For the past three years, I’ve toiled over a magical realism novel set in Xi’an, China on the relationship between history, memory, and identity. I’m also editing two short stories that I’m working towards publication soon.
As a journalist for the Stanford Daily, I mainly think about how horror as a medium is geared to express the material and psychological realities of different racialized and gendered groups.
Having edited 60+ college essays, I help students create cohesive and compelling narratives that make them stand out. Past students have gotten into Stanford, UPenn, Boston University, Amherst, and more. Feel free to contact me for more information.
